Rotary Club of Healdsburg is pleased to announce that the return to live festivities at Villa Chanticleer, Saturday, December 10, 2022 was a huge social and fundraising success. Thank you to all of our donors, attendees, and volunteers!!
The pandemic presented our Club with many new challenges and opportunities to serve our Community and beyond. We supported a Rotary Club in Ukraine with sourcing desperately needed medical supplies and toys and games for children. We developed a relationship with a sister Club in Mexico and helped raise funds for a neighborhood park and gardens. Our Club learned about and financially supported new organizations serving the food insecurity needs of many of our neighbors. We discovered exciting and better ways to clean and protect our environment and provided many volunteers for projects along the Russian River and a stretch of Highway 101. And we provided well needed scholarships to deserving Seniors from Healdsburg and Geyserville High Schools.
Our only source of funding to support these many charitable activities and organizations is currently from the Silent and Live Auctions – and we are so grateful that many local wineries and businesses have donated so generously to this year’s Feast and Auctions.
