Club Goals

During this Rotary year the Club President commits the Club to:
Club Service
Ensure that every member actively serves on a Club committee
Conduct a minimum of six social events, most including spouses/significant others.
Community Service
Support community needs and projects by allocating up to $35,000 from Club fundraising projects
Design and conduct a “Rotary At Work” project
Develop at least one District Grant
International Service
Actively work to partner on an international matching grant
Support humanitarian needs and projects internationally by allocating up to $20,000 from Club fundraising projects
Vocational Service
Institutionalize an award to a business that routinely and significantly contributes to the community
Actively support the Internship Program at Healdsburg High School
Youth Service
Increase the funding for scholarships given to graduating HS seniors and SRJC students by $5,000, to a total of $30,000
Continue to make the Healdsburg High School seniors’ “Freedom Day” an event by which Healdsburg Rotary is known and respected in the education community
Insure that every Club member who works directly with youth is Youth Protection Awareness certified
Membership
Achieve a net Club membership gain of four members
Conduct at least three Club mixer/social events intended to market the Club to prospective members
Rotary Foundation
Actively promote the goal of a $100 “Every Member, Every Year” contribution from each Club member
Double the Club’s giving to “End Polio Now” through Green Hair Day for a total donation of $20,000
Communications/Public Awareness
Complete the Club website redesign, and establish an on-going web support mechanism
Establish a Club presence on social media sites: both Facebook and twitter
Insure that at least one news piece per month is published in a local on-line/print newspaper
