Rotary Club of Healdsburg

Greetings and welcome to the Rotary Club of Healdsburg. 

 

Chartered in 1948, we are a vibrant club serving the Healdsburg & Geyserville communities.  Ours is a very active Rotary Club, not only for the level of service we provide to our community, but also for the fun we have in the community.

 

Our community service includes service to youth through our robust and continually growing scholarship programs, support for local elementary schools and other programs that help keep the youngest members of our community safe, free from hunger and supported with tools for learning and play.  We support music and arts education and provide mentoring and support for young future Rotarians through the local high school Interact Club.  Our annual Easter Egg hunt is a fun event for kids of all ages.

 

We assist our senior citizens, work with homeless issues, and other programs to assist our underserved populations, especially with regard to food insecurity.  We  also provide funding support for numerous other community-based organizations and non-profit groups, and honor local businesses for their generosity in the community.  We provide tools and join with our hands to clean up our environment and help make our beautiful area more wildfire resilient.  

 

We are part of Rotary International and as such, our Club works tirelessly to raise awareness of and support for those less fortunate.  We have funded and provided hands-on support for projects in Mexico & Central America as well as Africa and Asia.  We are a regional leader among Rotary Clubs in our giving to support Rotary’s effort to finally eradicate polio from our world.  We’re so close to achieving our goals with polio, and Rotary continues to play a major role in dealing with the current Covid pandemic.  We are guided by Rotary International's seven areas of focus, including the newest area, Protecting the Environment.
